THE CRAZY AWARDS SEASON HAS BEGUN WITH NY FILM CRITICS KICKING OFF MOVIE AWARDS TODAY AND GRAMMY NOMINATIONS DOING THE SAME FOR THE MUSIC BIZ ON WEDNESDAY



NY FILM CRITICS HONOR "ZERO DARK THIRTY" AND "LINCOLN" WITH MULTIPLE AWARDS
Best Picture:  Zero Dark Thirty
Best Director:  Kathryn Bigelow
(NYFC awarded Bigelow and Hurt Locker top honors and both ended up snagging the Oscar...could it be again?)

Best Actor:  Daniel Day-Lewis (Lincoln)
Best Actress:  Rachel Weisz (The Deep Blue Sea)
Best Supporting Actress:  Sally Field (Lincoln)
Best Supporting Actor: Matthew McConaughey (Bernie, Magic Mike)
Best Foreign Language Film:  Amour
Best Screenplay:  Tony Kushner (Lincoln)

I think Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field and Tony Kushner are going to take this thing to Oscar gold...
