Malia’s Vocals on Upcoming “The Lost Frontier” Get Certification of Authenticity
Singer/songwriter/producer Tina Malia’s vocal performance on her upcoming album ‘The Lost Frontier” has earned the official Certificate of Vocal Recording Authenticity from www.realsing.org. Centered around its RealSing Collective – made up of GRAMMY-winning singers, songwriters, producers, engineers, musicians and industry organizations -- RealSing.org was created to provide a counterpoint to tracks, albums and artists that rely on Auto-Tune and pitch correction technologies during the recording process. The RealSing Collective evaluates and then gives official certification to authentic recorded vocal performances, as it believes “elevating the real singer’s talent elevates the music lover’s expectation and, together they elevate the art of making music…which benefits us all.” Malia’s “The Lost Frontier” is the first pop/electronic album to receive the RealSing stamp.
“This is a great honor as an artist, of course, but what’s even more important is what it tells live concert-goers,” said Malia. “If someone buys a ticket to one of my live shows, they are going to hear that my vocals are my vocals whether recorded or live. I'm proud to be acknowledged by an organization that cares so much about quality and authenticity."
Malia First Indie Artist Named Ambassador of Peace by Brand Army Pink
Tina Malia is the first indie artist to be named as an Ambassador of Peace for the new global brand-of-action Army Pink (http://www.facebook.com/ArmyPinkGirls). The Army Pink mission is to support peace worldwide, and it pledges a portion of its sales to support organizations that make positive change in regions of the world and areas of our lives running at a peace deficit. The brand’s music initiative is called “Pink is the New Peace & Harmony” and its Ambassadors are female musicians – representing legends, icons and independent artists – who are courageous and committed to promoting peace worldwide.
“This is such an honor because it's part of every fiber of my being and as an artist,” said Malia. “Army Pink comes from such a genuine place, and I'm excited to be actively involved in their mission to promote peace throughout the world."
