Etta James: The "At Last" Singer Will Live On

I had the great fortune of meeting Ms. Etta James when I worked for The Recording Academy.  There are many celebrities that light up a room when you are in their presence which is one of the reasons they are famous, I'm sure of it.  However, Ms. James not only lit up the room, she commanded it with a gentle yet powerful soul.  It's difficult to put into words how she moved me when I met her.  You get an idea when you hear her sing.  That's what I will remember about her.  The gentle woman with the powerful voice and deep soul.  Ron
